Hi there. Yes, that’s me. I’m here and I’m alive. And most important — I’m back. Hope you are still here too. I was going to write this post several time and didn’t find the right words. Then I thought that I don’t really need to find some excuses to start writing again. All I need is to go and sit here at the dest and write and so it all went the right way and most of all I’m glad to be here again. I’ll tell you everything about what happened within these two months , what I’ve done and why I missed the whole month of my Slow Living Project.
These two months were really tough as I was working hard to launch our new project Brew Shopтм . It is an online store focused on alternative brewing gear and specialty coffee. Besides I was taking an intensive 6 week online course on online sales in Let’s Blog School by Marina Giller. My next post is going to be a review of the course because it is really great but today I’ll tell more about our project.
As all our beginnings the decision to launch a store was spontaneous and full of enthusiasm. Here in Ukraine people are really new to the alternative brewing. I was interested in it for a couple of years already watching inspirational photos in Kinfolk or favorite blogs but we did try chemex only about half a year ago. Having discarded a big coffee machine we craved for some nice and special coffee so the next day my husband brought home Hario and Chemex. It was love form the first drop and there it all started.
We bought chemex, V60 and aeropress, different sorts of arabica and started learning and tasting. We brewed and tried and learned and brewed and drank and tried to develop our taste. Usually many people in our country who are new to alternative are afraid to start as they believe that only a barista can brew a pourover. But in our shop we want to prove that anyone can enjoy the coffee and you don’t need to go to brew bar or live in a big city. We decided to focus Brew Shopтм on alternative only. You can find chemex, Hario V60, aeropress and all the needed gear and accessories and specialty arabica on the website.
So back to my work. I started developing the website (yes, me), studying at an e-course, shooting the goods, writing texts, working on social media and solving all the necessary tasks. One of my biggest problems that is killing me is that I’m taking unbearable tasks and then I can’t delegate them. I’m always sure that I can do everything on my own, that I can control everything better and make everything better. If you are the same check in the comments. This case is not an exclusion. But Sonya and Eat Me cafe remain here and they both demand my attention too. And this cheeky little girl doesn’t care of mommy’s new projects or anything.
I understood that if I spend at least an extra hour on blogging my nerves will explode. That’s why I decided to miss the month of Slow Living Project. To be honest I didn’t want to dissemble and write inexisting reports and set unreal challenges. Those two months were so harsh that my slow living desires remained like pics on my moodboard. I can’t say that everything is ok now. I still need lots of work to do but there’s light in the end of the tunnel and that’s the most important. So in June I want to go back to my Slow Living Project and move towards my desirable lifestyle.
JUNE PLANS — TIME MANAGEMENT:
The most important task for me is to rule my time, to set plans for the day and take right challenges, improve the regime and learn to write lists and most of all to follow them, set the priorities and to delegate. It is very difficult but you can’t live in chaos. So time management is on the list this month.
Tell me how you work on your tasks. what helps you to fulfill them?
If you have a piece of advice to share i’ll be very grateful.
And here you may see some inspirational photoshoot for our shop. Here you can watch a video. .
